Icom Ltd, won recognition in the category "Bulgarian manufacturer" at the 16th annual award ceremony "Golden Martenitsa" that took place yesterday at the National palace of culture, Sofia, Bulgaria.

The prize is awarded by the "Made in Bulgaria" union and is given in four different categories. The union is established in order to support Bulgarian industry and services as well as help them improve their competitiveness in the country and abroad. The awards were handed by the Bulgarian minister of economy, energetics and tourism Traicho Traikov.

For the first time in its 16 year history, "Golden Martenitsa" for bulgarian manufacturer is awarded to a company in the IT sector.

The award for Icom Ltd, is a recognition for the successful application of GPS systems and specialized telematic solutions in Bulgaria and abroad.
